Estate agents fees are ridiculously high, and the above quote proves you feel that way too. So in order to stand out from the traditional estate agent we had to 'think out of the box' and change the way our company was structured. By eliminating many of the unnecessary costs we are able to offer our service. The savings are passed to you, the customer.

The Internet

The Internet is the reason Forefront exists! Today, the majority of enquiries come from leading property portals such as righmove.co.uk. There is a very good chance that your future buyer will find your property on the Internet, yet traditional estate agents will still charge you thousands! How have you been looking for your next property?

The High Street Estate Agent

Previous experience tells us that very few customers actually visit estate agents offices these days, as the majority of enquiries come over the telephone or internet, from our radio adverts or 'for sale' signs. Today, the high street branch is unnecessary, yet it is the cost of running these branches, that make estate agents charges so high. Some agents have three or four of these expensive offices in one town, so it is easy to see why you have to pay so much!

Forefront operates from low cost business premises that are not on the high street. Vendors and buyers can still visit us and our office is laid out just like a high street office. We are, in effect, running a multi branch estate agency at a fraction of the cost.

Fees In General

Call several estate agents and ask them what their fees are. Chances are that many of them won't give you a straight answer. There is a reason why an agent won't give you this information. Firstly, they want to get a 'foot in your door' in order that they may try and sell their services. More importantly though, is that they want to see what they can get away with charging you. Most agents will try and charge at least 2% and sometimes more, but often will 'negotiate' down from this.
